Grading Policy

Policy #3400 - Evaluation of Student Progress

5. The superintendent or his/her designee(s) shall establish guidelines and regulations related to homework, exams, project resources, academic dishonesty, incomplete, and other factors as deemed appropriate.

6. The superintendent or his/her designee(s) shall determine the county-wide minimum grade for the reporting periods of the school year.

**An update for the 2016-17 school year relates to the minimum grade. The county-wide minimum grade for any 6 or 9 week grading period of the school year shall be 40. There will be no minimum grade for any state or teacher made final exam. Scores on any state required summative assessment shall count 25% of the final grade for the high school course.
