How many matches do you play a year?  We have 6 regular season matches, one per high school in the county.

Do you play in any tournaments?  Every year we play in the Rotary Academic Challenge Tournament as well others if time, money and opportunities allow.

What about a national tournament?  RAD attended Nationals in DC for the first time in the spring of 2008 and again in 2013 and 2014.  We plan to return every year we qualify!

What is the team's record?  Our record for the last six years are as follows:  13-14 5/6 wins, National Qualifiers and Competitors; 12-13 6/7 wins, Onslow County Champions, National Qualifiers and Competitors; 11-12 5/6 wins, Rotary Academic Challenge Champions; 10-11 6/6 wins; 09-10 5/6 wins, 1 loss; 08-09 5/6 wins, 1 loss; 07-08 6/6 wins; 06-07 6 wins, 0 losses.   From 2007 to 2011, the All Player's Match Champion was from Richlands High School:  Stephen Conrad, Clay Register, Luke Clutter, and Adam Barr.  Our parents swept the parents round in the All Player's Match nearly every year, too! (Onslow County no longer holds a yearly All Player's Match.)

Do universities like to see students particpate on quiz bowl teams? We think so! Former members have attended prestigous universities like Lenior-Rhyne, UNC, NC State, Duke, VMI, Cornell, Vanderbilt, Penn State, ECU, UNCW and many others. (Just ask Mrs. Rhodes, she loves to brag on and keep in touch with former players.)
